Apple iTablet: are you ready for a brand new proprietary system chic gadget?

Rumors are a new Apple überchic gadget is on its way: the iTablet. Basically looks like a tablet communicator device that will connect to your Mac.

If LoopRumors is getting it right, the iTablet will run its own flavor of Mac OS X Leopard, making it a Mac to Mac only device. If this is true, then it will hardly be such a success, since latest stats about OS market share puts Apple system at a quite embarrassing 6.61% compared to Windows (XP+Vista) 86.60%.

Will it connect to your iPhone, or iPod, or Apple TV? Should rumors be confirmed, either at the next Macworld Expo in January, or later on during 2008, chances are the new portable device will find an increasingly saturated market, competing against the iPod, the iPhone, the gPhone, the PSP, Kindle, the Nintendo DS, your mobile phone, your digital camera, your moleskine, the Blackberry, your PDA, your laptop, (...)
