From the post How to embed a Flickr slideshow in your blog on Download Squad, quoting the HOW TO Quickie: Embedded Flickr Slideshows post by Paul Stamatiou, and as follow up to my previous post on the IFRAME thing, here a way to embed your Flickr slideshow, in a standard way.

The following is the code, have a look here for an example. This technique is, alas, only working on Firefox and Opera, NOT on IE7, and I guess it does not work on IE6 neither. Also, in both Firefox and Opera this approach fails to render the size as it is expressed in the Flickr URL; to get the size of your choice you have to sepcify height and width as object attributes.

FYI, the blog you linked to is called Download Squad, not Lifehacker. Thanks for the link, though! It's a shame IE is so unfriendly to your nice standards-compliant code.
